Heartbeats - José González (live cover)

We kick started 2021 with a live cover of Heartbeats by José González. Sergiu thought we could pull this off in an hour, however that was an underestimation.

The plan for recording this song started rather late, I mean literally the evening before. I got to listen to it a bit before we met. I pretty much learned it while we were recording.

Outside the video frame there's a screen with the lyrics, which is what I'm looking at most of the time. Until I learned the parts, Sergiu was singing along with me to get the timing right. I remember I kept singing

We had diiii--vine sense

instead of

We haaaa--d divine sense

PS: I will never truly know whether the lyrics of this song is one of the lines below. But we chose the latter.
